Marshall Baker, 74, of the Buttermilk Community, died Monday, May 6, 2024, at his home.  He was born on June 3, 1949, at Russellville, to Harley Whitman and Thelma Jay Russell Baker.

He was the co-owner and operator of Baker Refrigeration.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Ivy Katherine Cook-Baker; his son, Brian Andrew Baker; a brother, Martin Lee Baker; and a brother-in-law, Ramon Darter.

Survivors include his siblings and their spouses, Wayne and Wanda Baker, and Judy and Dennis Langford; his son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Katie Baker; a daughter-in-law, Casey Baker; grandchildren, Quintin Marshall (Adison), Lydia Katherine, Lucas Whitman, Sophie Elizabeth, Brady Andrew and Lynley Kay Baker; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
