Martha Meadows Appleget, age 78, of Russellville, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.  She was born December 12, 1945, in Pine Bluff to Herbert Lee and Ola Mae Lowman Meadows.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville.  She retired from the Social Security Administration and was a member of Young at Hearts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cara Jean Murdock and Betty Sue Jackson.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Donald Duane Appleget; her son, K. Duane Appleget of Russellville; a granddaughter, Haley Elizabeth Appleget of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky; and a sister, Linda Lee Meadows of Pine Bluff.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Whitlock officiating. The graveside with burial will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at Lee Cemetery at Pine Bluff and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
