Martha Cochran, age 85, of Atkins, died Saturday, March 13, 2021, at her daughter's home.  She was born October 22, 1935, in Atkins to Herbert and Ethel Georgann Bowden Roberts.

She loved her family.  She was a hard worker and retired from ConAgra after 28 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Matt Cochran; two sons, Ronald and Donald Cochran; a grandson, Samuel Bowden; a brother, Kenneth Roberts; and 3 sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Brenda Cochran of Atkins; a daughter, Debbie Jean Matchett of London; a brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Shirley Roberts of Atkins; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gladys Bunton of Pottsville and Glenna and Warren Cochran of Atkins; her grandchildren, Rhonda and Jason Richey, Amy and Freddie Palinsky, James and Sara Bowden, Aaron and Melissa Cochran, Andria and Paul West, Stacy and Shawn Crites and Cameron Matchett;  several great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild on the way.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021, in Pisgah Cemetery near Pottsville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
