Mary Buckner, age 71, of Delaware, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.  She was born May 28, 1950, in Kinta, Oklahoma to Clifford and Mary Elizabeth Carter Harris.

She was a United States Marine veteran.  She loved catfishing, crafts and refinishing furniture.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike L. Buckner; and a great-grandchild, River Allen.

Survivors four sons and a daughter-in-law, Charlton and April Buckner of New Blaine, Robert Buckner of Russellville, Jason and Tamie Buckner of Greenwood and Dustin Buckner of Mayflower; two brothers, Jim Harris of Loveland, Colorado and John Harris of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Piper, Remy, Dakota Buckner and Nyssa and Mayriah and Alex Tuck; and one great-grandchild on the way, Elliana Mae Buckner.

A private graveside service for the family will be held in Lamar Cemetery and arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
