Mary Carter Dennis, age 82, of Russellville died Monday, August 9, 2021, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.  She was born July 28, 1939, in Dallas, Texas to Don and Rheudine Gaston Carter.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include a daughter, Joni Marie Dennis; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Billie Harden of Little Rock, Leta Carter, and Donna and Tom Miller; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Gaston and Katherine Carter, David and Linda Carter, Wayne Carter, and Gary and Sharon Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside for the family will be at 10:00 a.m., at Rest Haven Memorial Park with the Pastor Don Stiles officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 9:00-9:30 a.m., at the funeral home.
