Mary Hillis, age 91, of Appleton, died Friday, August 7, 2026, at Willow Grove in Maumelle. She was born on December 5, 1934, in Jerusalem, to Ezera Bud and Ethel Mooney Elkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Hillis; a daughter, Sandra Chambers; and all of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a son, Michael Hillis; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Gary Price; five grandchildren, Brandon, Cody and Drew Price, Chris Chambers and Krystal Delgado; along with several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Appleton Cemetery in Atkins, officiated by the Rev. Don Stiles, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
