Melanie Renea Birge, age 58, of Russellville died Friday, March 11, 2022, at her home.  She was born November 5, 1963, in Cleveland, Alabama to John Henry Jr. and Vera Fowler Collins.

She was a member of The Eagles Auxiliary and was a waitress for Brights Cafe in Dardanelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Joe Alvin Birge; two step-sons, Gary Birge of Russellville and Larry and Nicole Birge of Phelan, California; a step-daughter, Brenda and Ben Rodriguez of Billings, Montana; and two brothers, John and James Collins.

All services are private, and arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
