Michele Meason, age 76, of Russellville, departed this life Monday, February 21, 2022, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 15, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Charles Wesley and Pansey Reeves Hope.

She was a very active volunteer in the community for over 40 years, serving as a lifetime member of Junior Auxiliary, a board member for the Art Center, and many other organizations.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, J. Marion Meason; a son-in-law, Ron Brown; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Hope.

She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Michael, and Cindy Meason; two daughters, Sylvia Brown and Lynne Knight; 10 grandchildren, Darrin and Adam Brown, Lora Estabrooks, Brooklyn, Baylee, and Breanna Knight, and Amelia, Audrey, Aaron, and Anna Meason; and her very best friend, Maureen Christopher.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Don Stiles officiating, with burial in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
