Myra K. Ballanger, age 65, of Russellville, entered into the eternal rest and embrace of Heaven on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at her home. She was born April 2, 1959, in Hutchison, Kansas to Robert Harvey and Sherry Lavon Price Ballanger.

Myra served as a teacher for over 20 years and was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dover, Arkansas. Her dad called her "Sunshine", and for anyone who knew Myra, they would agree this name to be fitting. She brought light and joy into many people's lives as she was a devoted friend and a loving daughter. She loved whole-heartedly and worked to see the good in everybody. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her parents, Gary and Sherry Sanders; two sisters, Joyce Pevehouse and Karen Standridge; a brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Marilyn Sanders; and several nieces and nephews.

A family conducted memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Dover Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
