Nancy Kay Vining, age 86, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, following a long illness. She was born October 26, 1939, in Little Rock, to Lester and Mary Nobie Williams Shirley.

Nancy was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Russellville, where she enjoyed the fellowship of her ladies' group and participating in Kay Arthur Bible studies. Her faith and church family were an important part of her life.

In addition to her parents; she was proceeded in death by her husband, T.C. Vining.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Jeffery Vining and his wife, Folake, of Orlando, Florida, and John Wesley Vining and his wife, Ratna Surjadi, of Russellville, Arkansas; and her daughter, Angela Vining, of Grand Prairie, Texas; four beloved grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as "Nana", Bethany Vining Porter, John Luke Vining, Mackenzie Vining, and Caleb Vining; and one precious great-grandson, Hudson Porter.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday October 13, 2026, in McFadden Cemetery in Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service with the Rev. Mike Cloud officiating.
