Patty Sue Standridge, age 81, of Dover, died Thursday, May 7, 2026, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.  She was born on October 17, 1944, in Yell County to James Scarlin and Doyle Mae Jaggers Carroll.

She was of the Baptist faith, and loved working in her garden tending to her flowers. Mostly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Billy Joe Standridge; a son-in-law, Richard Grant; three brothers, Charles, Jimmy and Roger Carroll.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Stephanie Jordan of Dover and Shannon and Keith Dotson of Dover; a brother and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Glinda Carroll of Dardanelle; a sister and a brother-in-law, Kay and Bill George of Dardanelle; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Juan and Ona Mae Standridge of Dover, a brother-in-law, Jerry Standridge of Dover; sisters-in-law, Glenna Sue Simpson of Dover, Doris Thomas of Mt. George; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cherryl and Johnny Morphis of Rogers; five grandchildren, Autumn Grant, Heather (Sonny) Krikorian, Ashley (Alexander) Espinosa, Alexis (Lui) Rodriguez and Ashton Jordan; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel with Bro. Bill Hampton officiating, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
