Phyllis Lane, age 76, of Heber Springs died Monday, November 15, 2021, at her home. She was born September 12, 1945, in Los Angeles, California to Eulalio Herrera Perea and Dixie Mildred Lee.

She was the owner and operator of Phyllis' Bakery in Russellville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather and man who raised her, George Knittel; her husband, Bobby Lane; grandson, Bryan Erik Lane; her half-sisters, Lucy Verdugo, and Esther Hererra; and her half-brothers, Max Hall, and Eulalio Perea Jr.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Allan Clark of Heber Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Amy Lane of Ames, Iowa and Erik and Julie Lane of Panama City, Florida; a brother, George Knittel of Huntington Beach, California; a sister, Virginia O'Neal Settlemier of Atkins; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Andrew and Erin Lane of Coralville, Iowa, Kyle Crocker of Russellville, Adam Lane and Hannah Isabell of Madison, Wisconsin, Brett Lane of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Blair Lane of Pensacola, Florida, Alyssa Crocker of Conway, Blayke Lane of Panama City Beach, Florida, Blythe Lane of Panama City Beach, Florida, Amber Crocker and Kelsie Duvall of Atkins and Candice and Daniel Ward of Clarksville; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Don Stiles officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mark Lane, Erik Lane, Andrew Lane, Kyle Crocker, Adam Lane, and Brett Lane.
