It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Dale Ross, age 64, of Atkins, on Friday, November 15, 2024.  He was born November 22, 1959, in Russellville to Leamon Ray and Hazel Marie Dennis Ross.

He was a maintenance man.  He loved working on and fixing things.  He had an infectious spirit that brought joy to everyone in his life and was always the life of the party.

Roger loved his family and his friends.  He greatly cherished his grandchildren.  He will be missed by many but never forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray "Junior" Ross.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Doris Ross; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Joshua Allen; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger Dale Jr. and Desheala Ross; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bill Ross and Jerry and Dava Ross; six grandchildren, Robert, Marliegh, Erik, Symone, Caleb and Bodhi; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at Shinn Funeral Service.

Burial will be private under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
