Ronnie Dean Taylor, age 63, of Atkins, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born August 22, 1957, in Bakersfield, California, to Alvis Marion Taylor Jr. and Mildred Lois Beaver Taylor.

Ronnie was a loving father and grandfather. He was of the Assembly of God faith and was very proud of his father and grandfather for helping build the First Assembly of God Church building in Pottsville.  He loved fishing, hunting, and researching genealogy, with his favorite hobby being photographing headstones in cemeteries.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lynnette Taylor Renfroe.

Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Marjeana YaVohn Rains Taylor; one daughter and son-in-law, Shawn and Bronson Clayton of Pottsville; a special nephew, Josh and Melissa Renfroe, along with their children, all of Russellville; one step-son, David Engel of Kansas; one step-daughter, LaRanda Reed of Haskell; six grandchildren, Shayna, Kayla, Bryce, Alexis, Tyler and Madison; six great-grandchildren, Kinley, Karson, Kamden, Karoline, Kohen and Ryder.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Rains officiating, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Josh Renfroe, Bronson Clayton, Edward Hill, Tim Rains and David Hubbard.
