Rosalee Parsons
Price Estep
Jun 4, 1934 — Jan 12, 2024
Russellville
Rosalee Parsons Price Estep was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Rose left this Earth and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, January 12, 2024, at age 89, surrounded by loved ones.
Rose was a devoted, loving housewife, a gentle, comforting mother and an exceptional Nanny. Rose loved the Lord unwaveringly and spent many years serving her beloved church. From poultry farms to row crops, Rose was no stranger to hard work. As we grieve Rose, today, we know she is much happier in the presence of the Lord. Rose enjoyed cooking for her family and church, traveling with loved ones and quilting. Later in life, and as time allowed, she enjoyed watching "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy".
Rose was the daughter of Theodore Parsons and Ethel Ponder Cooksey.
She was preceded in death by two loves - John S. Price of 29 years and Don L. Estep of 24 years.
Also, preceded her in death were her brothers, Jody Parsons, Earl Parsons, Turl Parsons, Webb Parsons and Bob Parsons; a sister, Della Parsons Puryear; a son-in-law, Robert Hernandez; and a great-great-grandson, Harlan James Brown.
She is survived by her children, Eddie Price and Debbie of London, JoAnne Manskar and Tom of Russellville, Debbie Hernandez of Russellville and Karen McKennon and Scott of Morrilton.
Her bonus children, Steve Estep and Debbie of Coal Hill, Donna McWilliams, Lisa Casey and Ricky and Sandy Wood.
Her grandchildren are Sydna Price Bundy, Jennifer Price, Nicole Manskar Ross, John R. Price, Amy Whittenburg Carpenter, Molly Whittenburg, Preston Hernandez and Payton Hernandez.
Rose leaves behind other loved ones and many friends.
Rose will be honored in a service at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday January 17, 2024, in the Shinn Chapel with Steve Estep, Steve Acord and the Rev. Johnny McCoy officiating with visitation following the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
