Ruby Jean Jackson, age 92, of Russellville, died Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Stonebridge Senior Living Center.  She was born November 22, 1929, in Dover to George Washington and Mary Jane Davis Scott.

She was a Southern Baptist.  She was a retired communications worker for Continental Telephone Company.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Earl Jackson; four brothers, G.W. Scott Jr., Roy Fay Scott, Frank Scott, and James Allen Scott; and two sisters, Pauline Ruth Crain, and Katie Alieen Carey.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law Bob and Debbie Jackson of Russellville and Gary and Sara Jackson of Harrison; Eight grandchildren and their spouses, Jamie and Terry Thomas of Russellville, Kerri and Charlie Case of Little Rock, Katlyn and Nick Taylor of Springdale, Scott and Jessica Jackson of Nashville, TN, Sarah and Drew DeFries of Bono, Sonya and Kelly Roach of Russellville, Alison Taylor of Fayetteville, Aaron and ReNae Taylor of Russellville; twelve great-grandchildren, Paige Thomas, Jackson Case, Peyton Roach, Kameron Roach, Taylor Roach, Colin Roach, Moss Hodgson, Lake Hodgson, and Sebastion Hodgson, Emma Taylor, Leah Taylor, Davis Taylor; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law Elmer Jackson, Claude and Francis Jackson of Russellville and Melvin and Bobbie Jackson of Dardanelle and a number of nephews and nieces.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Claude Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Active pallbearers will be Terry Thomas, Charlie Case, Nick Taylor, Scott Jackson, Drew DeFries and Kelly Roach.

Memorials may be made to donors' favorite charity in honor of Ruby.
