God lifted up a special prize on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, when Sandra Louise Boatright, age 70, passed away at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer.  She was born June 1, 1950, in Albany, California to Troy Hugh and Rachael Gregory Curtis.

She was a member of Dover Church of Christ. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, gardening and decorating.  Her passion was making dresses and accessories for children in Nicaragua and Africa.

She was preceded in death by her father; precious friend and sister, Roxanne Shoptaw.

She proudly served on The Pope County Regional Library Board, the Dover Area Chamber of Commerce, as a member and officer and was key support for the Dover High School Academic excellence program.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Alan Boatright; two children and their spouses, Tony and Lisa Boatright of Beaverton, Oregon and Tami and Marc Allen of Tigard, Oregon; six grandchildren, Chris, Emily, Mitchell, Alex, Tyler and Austin; special friend and brother, Merrell Shoptaw and more friends than can possibly be counted.

The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Sneed and staff at Carti Russellville for being at our side these last 3 ½ years.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in her memory to Carti Cancer, 209 South Portland Ave., Russellville, Arkansas 72801.
