Sherry Savage, age 79, of Russellville, died Monday, August 15, 2022, at her home. She was born July 2, 1943, in Franklin, Tennessee, to Charles and Dorothy Green.

She was a member of Dover First Baptist Church. She and her husband, Fred owned and operated pet stores in Russellville and Conway. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved reading and studying the bible, along with gardening and watching her birds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Savage, and her father and mother-in-law, Norman, and Vivian Savage.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Cathy Savage of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Kurt Schrock of Millsboro, Delaware; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sandy and Ken Chaloka of Edison, New Jersey and Kathy Dymora of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Randy and David Schrock, Paul Schaffner, Travis and Kindra Savage; four great-grandchildren, Nate, Brody, and Landri Schrock, and Dutton Abernathy.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Dover First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Paxton officiating, with burial in Rest Haven Memorial Park, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Kurt, Randy, and David Schrock, Paul Schaffner, Travis Savage and Cody Abernathy.
