Shirley Nell Duvall Harrison, age 87, of Dardanelle, entered eternal rest to await her glorified body on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab. She was born February 16, 1937, in Pope County, the seventh child of Orville Ray and Margie Alma Bewley DuVall. She married Richard "Rick" Harrison in October 24, 1956.

She was a graduate of Russellville High School. During her life she was a homemaker, seamstress, and secretary. She was a faithful servant to the Lord in all the Missionary Baptist Churches where her membership was held. She taught Sunday School classes for many years, helped in Vacation Bible School, was a member of Ladies Auxiliary, etc. She was currently a member of Russellville Missionary Baptist Church. She also assisted her late husband in teaching the bible to International Students studying at ATU. She was a past President and former member of the Pope County Republican Women's Group and a former member of the Republican Party of Pope County. She loved decorating her home for every holiday and entertaining family and friends as much as possible. She was an excellent cook and loved gardening and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David "Rick" Harrison; a son-in-law, Richard S. Gunn; four brothers, four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by; her daughter and caregiver, Teresa Harrison Gunn; a grandson, Rustie Harrison Gunn; a son, David Timothy Harrison and partner, Peggy Bentley Harrison; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Glenda and Earl Schrock; numerous nephews and nieces; her church family, and several friends from all over the world.

All services are private and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
