Tannie Monica Delk-Apanavicius, born September 15, 1952, received her personal angel wings on October 28, 2026. She was greeted into heaven by her parents, Shirley Monica and Olen Delk; sister, Robin; and brother, Michael. She’s now the guardian angel to her husband of 56 years and best friend, Frank Apanavicius, their two children; her slightly rebellious yet faithful daughter, Barbara Monica Apanavicius-Lovell and her dedicated and loving son, Daniel James Apanavicius. Tannie had five grandchildren: her “One and Only” Brandon Lovell, her “Baby Doll” Monica Lovell, her “Lovey” Tyler Apanavicius, her “Sassy” Kylee Apanavicius (their mother, Danielle Long) and Curtis Lovell. And she was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: her “Boogaloo” Adam Lovell, Brody Lovell and Reese Lovell. She had two amazing Sisters, Susan (Israel) Rodriguez and Kimberly (Eddie) Burleson. She also claimed her niece Jeanne Seyler-Allen as “her own”.

Tannie began her life with the title of daughter, then granddaughter, cousin and later, sister, playmate, role model, friend and so on. Eventually, she became a wife, mother, aunt, waitress, office manager, mentor at church, nurse and her friend and family circle continued to expand. She was a doer, in service for others, always putting everyone before herself. She will be remembered as a faithful woman of God, of great faith, who’s love for her family could never be shattered. Her life lessons will be in our hearts and continue to guide us.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00pm, Monday, November 2, 2026 at the funeral home, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
