Obituary

Terry Daniel Wade Sr., age 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, leaving behind a life well lived and a legacy filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

Terry was known as a fun-loving man who was always happy, the life of the party, and someone who seemed to have good things happen wherever he went. His joyful spirit, quick smile, and easygoing nature made him unforgettable to all who knew him.

In his younger years, Terry played high school football, an experience that reflected his energy, teamwork, and love of camaraderie. Throughout his life, he embraced each day with enthusiasm and optimism.

One of Terry's greatest passions was fishing. He found peace on the water and immense joy in teaching his children to fish, sharing not just the skill, but the happiness, patience, and love he felt every time a line was cast. Those moments became treasured memories that will live on through his family.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Louise (Caudell) Wade; his brother, Ed Wade; and his sister, Ann Wade.

Survivors include Janie (Duryea) Frankhouse, the mother of his children; his children, Sandi (Greg) Ratliff, Danny Wade, and Sarah (Laven) Wood; grandchildren, Mia and Sydney Ratliff, Zach Winton, Terilynn Davis, Chase Wade, and Emma, Brandon, Grant, Barrett and John Wood; several great-grandchildren; his sisters, Virginia (Troy) Chandler, Lynn (Donnie) Sims, Tammy (Bill) Laymon, and Sharon (Danny) Waldo; a niece, Natalie (Sims) Mardis; two great-nieces and a great-nephew, Estella, Maebel, and Wade Mardis; and his best friend, Doyle Hill.

Terry will be remembered for his laughter, his love of life, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He leaves behind a family who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.
