Thomas Martin Garner, age 93, of Dover died Monday, January 16, 2023, at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock.  He was born December 7, 1929, in Chimes to Benjamin Franklin and Mary Lou Rice Garner.

He was the owner and operator for 51 years of Garner Backhoe Service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Robertson; a son, Gary Dale Garner; a brother, Ray Garner; and two sisters, Bertha Oliver and Iva Knight.

Survivors include his wife, Dollie Mae Garner; two sons and daughters-in-law, Willis Ray and Shirley Parks of Russellville and Bennie Joe and Brenda Parks of Dover; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lequitta and Wayne Jones of Russellville, La Donna Ranae Cochran and Jackey Ferguson of Atkins; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Shinn Chapel with Rev. Dean Caldwell officiating.  Burial will be in Archey Valley Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Shane Cochran, Brett Price, Tripp Price, and Trevor Cochran.
