Timothy (Casey) Elmore, age 38, of Dover, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1986, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Timothy Arlin and Kathy Jo McAlister Elmore.

As his Pa (Arlin Elmore) prophesied, "He will live to sing and praise the Lord". Casey enjoyed singing and writing Gospel music. He found fulfillment in encouraging others and interceding for them in prayer. Casey used his charisma and humor to make others laugh, and to lead them to Christ.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy; a brother, Jonathan; Maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruby McAlister; and paternal grandfather, Arlin Elmore.

He is survived by his father, Tim (Rhonda) Elmore; a sister and brother-in-law, Lasey (John) White; a paternal grandmother, Ernestine Elmore; and a maternal step-grandmother, Mary McAlister.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2024, at Dover First Assembly, with Bro. Aaron Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, at the funeral home.
