Verna Ann Price, age 81, of Russellville, passed away into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at her home. She was born July 20, 1940, in Ozark, to Vernon Harrison Corley and Melba Rae Cook.

She married her loving husband of 28 years, John W. Price, on July 20, 1992, and they shared a beautiful home in Russellville. They were members of the DAV, where she served for a year in the capacity of Commander of the Women's Auxiliary, and she was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ray England.

She is survived by her loving husband, John W. Price of Russellville; a son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Dawn Rinke of Conway; a daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Dwane Ahrens of Russellville; four grandchildren and their spouses, Christina and Chris Ward of Helena, Montana, Shannon and Kirk Hall of Little Rock, Kara Rinke of Little Rock, and Lindsey and Michael McCrary of Hot Springs; six great grandchildren, Tristan Young, Caddis Ward, both of Helena, Montana, Brooks Hall of Little Rock, and Owen, Samuel and James McCrary of Hot Springs; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Jimmy Birkhahn of Lamar, Anna and Gary Ethridge of Ozark, Marietta Laneer of Lamar, Becky and Charlie Climer of Russellville; and two brothers and sister-in-law, Ernest and Jeanenne Cook of Rose Creek, and Gene Cook of Lamar; and two friends that are considered family, John and Sherry Cobb.

A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2021, in Rest Haven Memorial Park, with the Rev. Kevin Jonson officiating, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
