Virginia Rackley Turner, age 78, of Hector, died Monday, October 11, 2021, at her home. She was born February 24, 1943, in Pope County, to Jim and Fannie McCuin Rackley.

She was a member of Hector Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Turner; two daughters, Melissa, and Susan Turner; two brothers and sister-in-law, Loyd Rackley and Darrell and Reta Rackley; and a sister, Oleeta Standridge.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Hector Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Terry Latham officiating. Burial will be in Nogo Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
