Walter (Mac) James McNeese, age 64, of Hattieville, passed Thursday, January 30, 2025, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1960, in Springdale to Walter Henry and Martha Cleora Williams McNeese.

Walter was known as a pool connoisseur and an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved collecting guns, cutting wood to provide for his family, and riding motorcycles. He was a hard worker, loving father, and devoted husband.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry McNeese; and his sister, Florence Veteto.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Brenda McNeese; a son, James Walter Allen McNeese; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Cleora Jewell McNeese and Mary Marlana and John Weems; and eight grandchildren, Devir, Dodie, Delilah, Ethan, Cameron, Zachary, Jenna and Penelope.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Rest Haven Memorial Park  in Russellville with Bro. Anthony Duvall officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home for a peaceful time of remembrance.

Pallbearers will be John Weems, Ethan McGhee, Cameron McGhee, James McNeese, and Devir Weems.
