Walter Muller, age 72, of Russellville, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Baptist Health in Little Rock.  He was born November 12, 1952, in Kiribati Island, to Edwin and Matarena Namaroro Muller.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and a line worker at Tyson Food.  He was born and raised on the Kiribati Island in the South Pacific and in 2016, he traveled to Marshall Island where his father was born, and he obtained his Marshall Island citizenship and later moved to the United States.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kaeko Muller; a son, Titau Muller; a brother, Tianere Muller; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include seven sons and daughters-in-law, Ruataake Muller, Wilfred and Mareta Muller, Edwin and Mawaua Muller, all of Kiribati Island, Bwatetima and Akata Muller of Russellville, Marist Muller of Marshall Island, Ruby Muller of Russellville and Rubeneta Muller both of Russellville; three daughters, Louisa Muller of Dardanelle, Magarita Muller and Annie Muller of Kiribati Island; a brother, Wilfred Muller of Sidney, Australia; three sisters, Anna Muller and Korini Muller, both of Kiribati Island and Lousia Muller of New Zealand; 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Shinn Chapel with the Mr. Bobonteata Ienraoi officiating.  Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Chapel.
