Wanda Eloise Gray, age 84, of Appleton, died Friday, June 11, 2021, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.  She was born January 22, 1937, in Hector to Joe Don and Arvena Crouch Cook.

She loved her family unconditionally, loved her Lord with all her heart, soul, mind and strength, loved to bake cookies to put a smile on anyone's face and send a card to spread joy and comfort and well wishes to anyone and everyone.  She will be missed by her family and friends but we know this is not the end, but the beginning of the life of eternal joy, everlasting!

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Billy R. Gray; a brother, Joe Don Cook; a daughter Penny Barkley; and a grandson, Joshua Branch.

Survivors include one son, Kenny Gray of Appleton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Pete Eifert of Hot Springs, Billie and John Pawlicki of Appleton; two brothers, Kenneth Cook and Samuel "Mac" Cook; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Welcome Home Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Pete Eifert with burial in Appleton Cemetery, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
