Wanda Lee Peevy, age 91, of Russellville, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at her home. She was born June 25, 1930, in Russellville, to Charles Sr. and Elois Edwards Wilson.

She was a "Mother" and member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, as well as the Eastern Stars.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Uyless Peevy Sr.; two sons, Curtis Maruice Wooten and Robert Uyless Peevy Jr.; two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Peevy, Raymond and Joely Peevy and Todd Thompson; three daughters and son-in-law, Dorothy White, Mary and Nathaniel Johnson and Betty and Ray Watkins; a sister-in-law, Gerldine Wilson; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

An open visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., on August 27, 2021, at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021, at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
