William "Willy" Arthur Gillum, age 70, of London, passed on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the McLellan VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born July 27, 1953, in Russellville at Saint Mary's Hospital, to Billy Wayne and Ida Mae Gibson Gillum.

Raised in the Church of Christ at Georgetown William later attended London Assembly of God. At Russellville High School he was a member of FFA.

William is a Vietnam era veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the VFW, DAV, and the Eagles Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Gillum of London; his grandparents, C. H. (Ches) and Mary Elizabeth Gibson of Russellville (formerly of Scotia) and LeRoy and Gwen Price of West Memphis; his great-grandmother, Ida Rouselle of Atkins; and his aunt and Uncle, John and Polly Gibson of Georgetown; and their daughter Joan.

William loved his cousins.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Gillum; his cousins, Mary Jimenez (Joe) and family of Mill Creek; Jane Storment (Gary) and family of Georgetown; Kate Harness (Jason) and family of Whorton Mountain; and Jim Ed Gibson (Mary Kay) and family of Scotia.

William was a friend and help to everyone who knew him. Everyone who knew William loved him. He often spoke of his Lord and His goodness.
