William Paul Cumbie, age 86, of Russellville, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his home. He was born March 31, 1939, at Dyess, to Woodrow and Willie B. Cumbie.

He loved his family and friends dearly.  He was proud of his career in pipeline construction and enjoyed his farm.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman Cumbie and James Cumbie; two sisters, Claudette Spann and Laverne Johnson; daughter, Paula Pellham; and a grandson, Christopher Bradley Boylls.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ollie Cumbie; a daughter Teresa (Donald) Belk; five grandchildren, Robert Paul (Jessie) Boylls, Sara Elizabeth Belk, Rachel Nicole Belk, Natalie Annette Ibanez and Brandon (Amber) Pellham; three great-grandchildren, Kennedy Gibson, Kanaan Pellham and Alexandria Carpenter; special niece, Beverly Dennis; neighbor and close friend, Barbara Cole; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Shinn Chapel.  Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
