William Burt Jr., age 83, of Russellville, died Sunday, May 10, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to William Sylvester Sr. and Olivette Lenice Douglas Burt.

He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Sybil Burt; a son and daughter-in-law, William III and Amy Burt; a daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Bill Harris, a sister, Olivette Hubler; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

All services are private, with arrangements by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
